Even Stephen in the book of Acts, while he was telling others about his faith, his face “shown like that of an angel”. I believe that for us as well, after being in the presence of God, studying His word, singing his praise, our lives should GLOW and shine bright for Him!

10 years of experience, crowds of 20,000+, over 1,000,000 YouTube views, and features with some of the biggest names in the game. Southern-bred independent artist Q Machette has brought his magnetic lyrical style to forefront of the independent music scene with full force.
Far from the limelight, Q Machette had very humble beginnings growing up in Tuskegee, Alabama. Being raised by his mother, and reaching to fill the void of an absentee father, Q Machette took to the streets for the love and support he yearned for. Looking to drug dealers, killers, and pimps for the fatherly advice the he was missing at home, Q Machette learned all he knew from the streets. As the story goes, when a young man is raised in the streets he begins to embrace the street lifestyle, and so begun his affiliation with the gangs of the streets of Tuskegee.
According To Q Machette he “started rapping on a whim during grade school to impress my female classmates.” The teachers were so impressed with his lyrical prowess they provided words of encouragement to help nurture his lyrical gift, thus saving him from the quintessential ending that the street life promised. Beginning his career as one-third of the group Lyrical Machette, Q Machette received a tangible introduction to the entertainment business, and ultimately left the group to pursue his solo feats. Q Machette signed to the high profile Island Boy Entertainment in July 2010, and he took the business by storm. Working with the likes of some of Hip-Hop’s most heavy hitters, Gucci Mane, Young Dro, Bobby Valentino, Trouble, Kebob Gotti, Cash Out, etc. has opened the door for Q Machette to truly become his own star. Armed with an elegant delivery and gritty flow the upstart emcee stands above the legion of rappers, experiencing remarkable popularity outside of his hometown by relocating to Atlanta and setting the city on fire.
In addition to his ever-evolving music career Q Machette started a tour called “Say Whatever Man to Bullying”. “Say Whatever Man to Bullying” is a program set to educate students about the effects of bullying in a real way. Q Machette travels from school to school talking to the children, and ending each session with a performance. Having always had a special spot in his heart for kids, Q Machette uses this campaign as his way of giving back to his community. Having opened up for the likes of OutKast, Shorty Lo, 2 Chainz, Trina and more Q Machette gained some most deserved notoriety. There is something alluring about this independent artist who stands at the threshold of stardom and approaches his craft as confidently as an established rhyme vet. Driven, irrefutable, and roused, Q Machette is an artist whose lyrics will remain forever ingrained in Hip-Hop’s continuous narrative.

Highlighting verses from the final chapter of the Bible, the 51-year-old writer interprets an urgent need for those with voices and a platform to not only speak out on social media, broadcast news programs, podcast interviews and at national protests and rallies, but to speak out on original records and in books with the defiance and wisdom that paints yet another chapter of cultural and political history in our turbulent country. And he does so over a thick and harmonious grove, produced by KDN Beats, buffered by the angelic voice of soul singer, Dajulyn Wallace.
Taking notes and elements from a long and colorful history of black vocal delivery, from the inner-city street corners of Philly to the southern church pulpits of Atlanta, Tyree adds a heavy dose of echo panning to make sure we hear his every word, multiple times.
“This is the type of old-school music a lot of young people are not really familiar with anymore,” Tyree states. “Of course, the first and second generations of hip-hop artists know it, but now we’re on to a third and fourth generation of hip hop, who will likely hear this style of music for the first time.”
Calling himself “The Oldhead,” Tyree reveals that Revelations is actually the close-out record on a compilation album entitled, The Last Summer, created to document the thoughts and reactions to the CoronaVirus, Racial Injustice, and the current state of the world in year 2020.
But as Tyree states in a chamber of seamless echoes, the young boahs with voices to speak on a record have no idea how to respond to what’s going on. So, it’s The Oldhead to the rescue. And the seasoned Philadelphia writer, best known for the urban classic novel Flyy Girl, says he’s just getting started.
“I got more than a dozen records coming this summer with some established artists and some new artists, and every single song is dope and meaningful,” he boasts. “And if Revelations does the work of getting the word out, then we’re all about to see and hear it.”
Tyree says he plans to release a new song snippet from The Last Summer compilation every two weeks in June and July until the full LP is complete in August.

Still Here is a Hip Hop song expressing our frustration with the lies of America. We are strong and will not allow the lie to continue. We will change the system. We will unite and educate the young about real history as opposed to the watered down versions they are presented with today.
We support the youth as the change will come from them. They are intelligent, strong and passionate. Let's usher in a new era where the victims of injustice are made whole. This video is for the young children as well as adults.
This is Hip Hop with a purpose.

After graduating from college in North Carolina, Banx wasn’t surrounded around much motivation. Many of his childhood friends either turned to drugs or the streets, so Banx had to make a decision on the type of person who he wanted to become.
Isolating himself, he began to pursue and practice music as a way to channel his frustrations. Many people who graduated knew what they wanted to do, but it just wasn’t the same for Banx. Music opened up another avenue for him to express himself.
He practiced the craft by taking up freestyling and other styles of music. He also found lots of inspiration from his childhood when his dad would send him CDs to listen to while he was deployed. Fast-forward, Banx has released a few singles to the public and plans to release more music and videos to garner the attention of industry heads.
When asked about his inspiration, he says he’s inspired by many artists but most importantly, Lil Wayne, Tupac, and Juicy J. Versatility is important to Banx, so he says he loves to create music that can put you into various moods. He plans to release his first project “Rachet and Rewarding” and also plans to roll-out more content for his growing fanbase.
